Account Deletion

You can delete your CalQuest account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how.

Option 1: Delete from inside the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the app:

• Open the CalQuest app and tap the Profile tab (bottom-right).
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
• Confirm in the dialog that appears. Your account and data are erased immediately. See the “What gets deleted” section below for details.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to contact us directly, send an email to calquestai@gmail.com from the email address associated with your CalQuest account. Include the subject line “Delete my account”. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once it is complete.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your account record (email address, authentication tokens)
• All food logs and nutrition entries
• All exercise logs
• All weight logs
• Food photos you uploaded inside the app
• League history, XP, and streak data tied to your account

Anonymous, aggregated analytics data (which cannot be linked back to you once your account is deleted) may be retained for product improvement purposes.

Timeframe

Deletion requested inside the app happens immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days. You will not be able to recover your account or data after deletion is complete.

We may retain certain data for longer only where required by applicable law (for example, billing or tax records if a purchase was made).
